Electric PP plastic butterfly valves offer excellent corrosion resistance. The valve body is lightweight, made from hygienic, non-toxic, wear-resistant material—a milky white, highly crystalline polymer that is odorless and tasteless. At 80°C, it withstands corrosion from common inorganic acids, alkalis, salts, gases, and water (excluding oxidizing agents), and exhibits strong resistance to polar organic solvents and highly polar carboxylic acids and alcohols. The electric PP butterfly valve is generally resistant to corrosion, though certain oxidizing acids at higher concentrations may cause significant damage. It possesses adequate rigidity and strength, with an operating temperature range of -0°C to 120°C.
