Pneumatic soft-seal butterfly valves are centerline butterfly valves offering excellent corrosion resistance and sealing performance. Typically available in flanged or wafer-type connections, they are suitable for applications involving corrosive media and demanding low leakage rates under normal temperature and pressure conditions. Featuring a soft-seal structure with materials like rubber or PTFE, these valves can achieve zero leakage. Due to structural limitations, they are unsuitable for high-temperature, high-pressure, or abrasion-resistant applications. Instead, they are ideal for on/off shutoff and flow regulation in ambient temperature environments under low-to-medium pressure conditions.
