The ZDLQ/X electronic motorized three-way control valve typically comes in two configurations: converging and diverging. The converging valve features two inlets and one outlet, designed to combine two fluids into a third fluid. The diverging valve has one inlet and two outlets, splitting one fluid into two separate streams. This achieves fluid mixing for heating or cooling, or unequal fluid distribution, meeting diverse operational requirements. However, these valve types must be selected appropriately. When nominal diameter and pressure differential are small, a flow-combining valve may be used in flow-dividing applications. Conversely, for flow-dividing applications with nominal diameter DN ≥ 80 mm and significant pressure differential, only a flow-dividing valve should be employed.
