Detailed Introduction
Due to reasons such as pump shutdown in water pipelines, the water column in the pipeline may break and separate, creating negative pressure. This negative pressure then pulls the separated water columns back together, resulting in an impact, which forms a water hammer caused by column separation and rejoining. This buffer-type air valve features functions of staged air release and prevention of water hammer from column separation and rejoining. Equipped with an adjustable buffer device, the valve controls the air release of the air release valve to achieve functions such as staged air release, prevention of surge water hammer, and prevention of water hammer from column separation and rejoining. It is a functional air valve suitable for complex water conveyance systems.
Structural Features
● Large air intake and exhaust capacity. The full-bore streamlined flow channel design ensures strong air intake and exhaust capabilities.
● High air closing pressure. Since the operating pressure difference of the buffer device is lower than that of the float, the float will never be blown up and closed by air; it can only be closed under the buoyancy of water.
● Excellent sealing performance. Adopting a combined soft and hard sealing structure, and utilizing the self-sealing principle, the valve achieves zero leakage sealing in the entire pressure range from zero pressure to nominal pressure.
● Effective prevention of water hammer from column separation and rejoining. When the separated water columns rejoin, the buffer device closes to throttle the air, preventing the water columns from colliding rapidly and thus avoiding the generation of rejoining water hammer.
● Elimination of surge effect. When the water flow velocity is high, the buffer device throttles the high-speed air to eliminate the surge effect.
● Prevention of surge water hammer. When high-speed water flow reaches the air valve, the buffer device reduces the impact of the water flow on the float of the air valve, preventing the occurrence of surge water hammer.
● Prevention of water filling water hammer. During secondary water filling, a large number of segmented water flows remain in the pipeline, and impact water hammer may form at the pipeline elbows. The buffer device restricts the air exhaust speed at the elbows and eliminates the secondary water filling water hammer through air isolation.
● Large pressure air exhaust capacity. The micro air release valve adopts a lever-type structure, which greatly improves its pressure air exhaust capacity.
● Simple and reliable structure. With a free-float structure, there are very few internal components, ensuring reliable structure and low failure rate.
● Anti-freezing and anti-cracking. Particularly suitable for use in cold northern regions.
● Convenient online inspection. Equipped with an inspection mechanism, it allows easy judgment of whether the valve is faulty.
