Pneumatic Cutoff Butterfly Valve
Pneumatic shut-off butterfly valves (also known as pneumatic isolation butterfly valves) are typically used in industrial pipelines for on/off control of media flow. They utilize compressed air pressure to actuate the disc plate into fully open or fully closed positions. Pneumatic on-off butterfly valves are typically categorized by their default state into normally open or normally closed types. This means the valve remains open or closed when inactive. It automatically resets to the open or closed position in the absence of air supply, during power failure, or when the air circuit malfunctions. Pneumatic shut-off butterfly valves feature exceptionally fast opening and closing speeds, making them particularly suitable for rapid switching or emergency shut-off applications.
