Multifunctional Water Pump Control Valve Working Principle
Upon pump startup, water pressure acts beneath the main valve disc and in the lower chamber of the control chamber. This pressure opens the main valve, allowing water from the upper chamber of the control chamber to slowly discharge through regulating valve B to the outlet end, gradually opening the main valve. Setting the opening degree of regulating valve B achieves the appropriate main valve opening speed. When the pump stops operating, the inlet water pressure drops rapidly. Under the combined effects of gravity and spring pressure, the valve closes most of its opening quickly, preventing backflow. The remaining opening closes gradually due to the combined pressure from the upper and lower chambers of the control chamber. This slower closing speed creates a buffer, preventing sudden pressure surges.
Setting the opening degree and opening ratio of regulating valves A and B allows for achieving an appropriate valve opening and closing speed.
